Becoming who you truly are – authentic, intentional, and free
You have one wild and precious life to live. If you are not living and expressing your own truth, then what exactly are you doing with it? Imagine what would be possible if you were truly free – and go for it.
As a therapist, I support people in finding their own truth and living it. This involves healing emotional wounds and integrating parts of the self that have been shut off. Life doesn’t have to be the same way it has always been.
I’m using a variety of modalities in my counseling and therapy work, including parts work, hypnotherapy, and EMDR.

Integrative therapy
Fast results by working with what’s here
Many psychological problems are rooted in past experiences, particularly in childhood. But they happen in the present, manifesting as feelings and inner reactions whenever a pattern is triggered. Here and now, you repeat what was once functional, but problematic now.
In integrative therapy, there is no need to tell your life story or dwell upon the past. We work with patterns and feelings here and now. You change the relationship with experiences that have been difficult for you, and integrate your psyche. You become more whole – the very definition of healing.

Becoming who you are
Your subconscious mind knows the way
All parts of our psyche strive for integration. Dissociation of feelings and experiences is an active process that requires mental energy and effort. We are usually not conscious of that effort. That is why real change often requires more than talking. We need to mobilise deeper levels of consciousness.
In my practice, I use different forms of trance, or altered states of consciousness. Examples are active imaginations (Jung), Ericksonian hypnotherapy and meditative trance. These state-of-the-art techniques support the natural drive towards psychological integration and allow for short and efficient, problem- and solution-focused therapy.
Highly qualified and always expanding skills and knowledge
I hold a degree as Integrative Counselor from the Dutch Academy for Psychotherapy in Amsterdam (2024). At the same institute, I am currently expanding my therapeutic skills toward full accreditation as Integrative Therapist. I work under supervision from experienced Integrative Therapists. I am a member of Dutch professional association NFG, continuously working to meet their standards with regard to study, development, intervision, supervision, and quality management. My therapy work is partially covered as complementary healthcare under some supplementary health insurance programs in the Netherlands.
What I treat
Integrative therapy is suitable for most temporary psychological and psychosomatic issues. Here is a (incomplete) list of issues and complaints I regularly see in my practice and that I have seen good results with. Please note that psychiatric issues and personality disorders are usually not suitable for short-term integrative treatment. Also, I am not currently qualified to treat complex trauma. Whenever I signal a lack of competence on my side, I will immediately refer to a qualified professional.
